Scooter holds a Guinness World Record as the oldest living kitty.
At 30 years of age, Scooter, a Siamese from Mansfield, Texas, is the world’s oldest cat according to Guinness World Records.
You’d think a 30-year-old cat would spend a lot of time cat napping, but not Scooter.
This Siamese cat from Mansfield, Texas, has lived twice as long as the typical pussy, but still manages to stay active.
Scooter’s owner, Gail Clark, says he wakes up every morning at 6 a.m., “talking” and jumping around. He is always waiting by the door when she arrives home from work.
The real-life “meow-thuselah” still acts like a kitten by climbing up on Clark’s shoulder and going with her everywhere he can.

As remarkable as Scooter is, he’s only recently getting recognition for his amazing lifespan.
Guinness World Records has just announced Scooter as the title holder in the “World’s Oldest Cat” category.
To win the honor, Scooter beat out Corduroy, a domestic long hair living in Sisters, Oregon.
At 26, Corduroy was a mere baby by comparison
That honor goes to Crème Puff of Austin, Texas, who lived 38 years, 3 days, before dying in 2005.
Scooter celebrated this week by getting a bath and feasting on his favorite dish — chicken.
