Kidney stones are painful, hard masses, made from the build up of minerals and acid salts. The presence of these stones cause abdominal, back, and groin pain, along with fever, chills and painful urination. If you experience these symptoms consistently seek medical aid immediately.
Kidneys stones are commonly removed with mildly invasive surgery or use sonic waves to break up the stone. Apple cider vinegar (ACV) is formed by the fermentation of apples and is commonly used as a natural treatment for many ailments. The high acidic nature of ACV helps break down and bind toxins.
Below are five ways to use ACV to break down and remove stones. Be sure to use unfiltered, organic ACV, for the best results.
ACV And Water
Take two tbsp of ACV and mix with eight ounces of water. You can drink this once a day to prevent the build up of kidney stones. To break down existing stones, drink this multiple times, everyday.
ACV And Honey
A couple of tsp of honey mixed with a tsp of ACV, should be consumed a couple of times a day to remove stones. Keep drinking until the stones break down and pass.
ACV And Baking Soda
Mix half teaspoon of baking soda and a couple of tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. Add this to a glass of water. This decreases the acidity in the body which beaks the formation environment of the stones. Drink three times a day until the stones pass.
ACV, Olive Oil, Lemon Juice, And Water
Mix 2 oz of organic olive oil and 2 oz of organic lemon juice. Drink the mixture, then drink 12 oz of purified water and wait for half an hour. Now, take the juice of half a lemon to 12 oz of water with a tbsp of ACV. Mix and drink. This method has to be done once an hour but is highly effective.
ACV, Honey, And Baking Soda
Fill a large mug with hot water. Add one oz of ACV and 1/4 tsp of baking soda. Add honey to taste. Drinking this can relieve the pain of the stones. Be sure to drink it within thirty minutes.
