To make your own turmeric mouthwash, simply stir some ground turmeric into warm water or dissolve 10 mg. of turmeric extract in 100 ml. of warm water and add peppermint for flavor. Turmeric for Health recommends a turmeric toothpaste made of 1 teaspoon of turmeric, half a teaspoon of salt and half a teaspoon of mustard oil.
