WARNING: Graphic content. The person who filmed the footage said: “We are fed up with these sorts of situations… and that’s why we are going public”
A shocking video has caught the moment a randy couple had sex on a train station platform in full view of other passengers.
The passionate pair kept their tops on but threw their trousers on the ground so they could make love on one of the benches normally reserved for commuters waiting for their transport to arrive.
The unbelievable scene took place in the early hours of Sunday morning atBarcelona’s Liceu station , which is under the famous La Rambla in the centre of the old part of the city known as the Gothic Quarter.
The area is extremely popular with tourists and Brits on stag and hen weekends.
A local can be seen walking past in the footage, trying to ignore the X-rated scene unfolding just inches away from him.
Another group of youngsters walking in the opposite direction stop as they approach the amorous couple and decide to wait until they have finished in-between embarrassed giggles.
A friend of the person who filmed the footage told Catalan daily El Periodico: “We are fed up with these sorts of situations and that’s why we’ve decided to register a formal protest and go public with it.”
It was unclear last night if the pair let their emotions get the better of them after too much to drink or were acting out their passions for a dare.
Station bosses said they weren’t aware of the incident but would be investigating.
Last August a couple were filmed bonking on a bench by a horrified tourist in the Costa Blanca resort of Torrevieja.
The pair stripped stark naked for their sex session in the resort, nicknamed the ‘Costa del Yorkshire’ because of the number of Brits that have made it their home over the years.
They also did it on a bench, but on that occasion a Gaudi-style landmark bench in a square surrounded by restaurants and cafes which is a favourite on the town’s postcards.
Shocked holidaymakers called police to interrupt the couple’s antics.
But when officers arrived the lovebirds told them: “Go away and don’t bother us”, risking a heavy fine after being reported for a public order offence.
